INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS: Street Resurfacing in Ward 6

Question/Comment: What Ward 6 streets will the City resurface this year?

City Update 5/13/10: The following streets in Ward 6 are scheduled to be resurfaced in the summer/fall of 2010: Irving Street, Lexington Avenue, raised traffic calming tables will be installed at Summer and Willow and Kidder and Willow, Willow Avenue, Spencer Ave, and Cottage Ave.  Note that final work is dependent on contractor bid prices being consistent with city budget estimates.

City Update 11/17/2009: The following streets in Ward 6 have recently been resurfaced: Hancock Street, Herbert Street, Cottage Circle, Villa Avenue, and Fairlee Street.

City Update 6/4/2008: The following streets in Ward 6 are scheduled for resurfacing in the summer or fall of 2008: Hancock Street, Herbert Street, Cottage Circle, and Villa Avenue. These additional streets will undergo water main repair and may not be resurfaced until spring 2009: West Street, Chester Street, Fairlee Street, and Spencer Avenue. Note that final work is dependent on contractor bid prices being consistent with city budget estimates.
