QUALITY OF LIFE: Dealing with Dog Feces

Question/Comment: Look into options for dealing with people who leave dog feces, especially in certain neighborhoods, such as Ten Hills.

City update 12/2/09: The City has hired a part-time animal control officer, in addition to the regular full-time officer. This part-time officer will enforce outside of the regular 9:00 to 5:00 work week. Officers will be asked to continue to monitor the area and take action on any and all violations.

City Update 5/9/08: Board of Aldermen is considering increasing penalties, posting penalties, and adding dog officer for FY09.
