PARKS: Renovation of Dickerman and Morse-Kelley Parks

Question/Comment: What are the City's plans to renovate Dickerman and Morse-Kelley parks?

City Update 3/19/10: A public meeting was held on March 15 to discuss the Dickerman and Morse-Kelley playground renovations.  CBA Landscape Architects presented the preferred design plan for both parks, and we had a good discussion of their proposed programs and layout.  A copy of the presentation and each park's design are now on the City website for public review and feedback.  For Morse-Kelley Playground, go here: click here.  For Dickerman Playground, click here.  Feel free to email, call or write in with any comments on the design options through April 13, 2010.  All comments will become part of the public record and shared with CBA Landscape Architects.  For more information about these projects, feel free to contact Ellen Schneider, Landscape Project Manager, at 617.625.6600 x2529 or eschneider@somervillema.gov.

City Update 11/12/2009: The City plans to renovate these parks and both are currently in design phase.  Both Dickerman and Morse-Kelley Parks are expeccted to be completed by the winter of 2010.
