PARKS: Potential sprinkler leak in Perry Park

Question/Comment: A resident has noticed that the back area of Perry Park is continually soupy and he is concerned that it may be caused by a leak in the city’s sprinkler lines.

City Update 12/9/09:  The DPW crew went to Perry Park on Friday to assess this problem, but they did not see anything out of the ordinary.  Because the irrigation system is now off for the season, they will not be able to confirm a potential pipe break until the spring, but they have made note of it and will come back to review it in April.

City Update 11/30/09: The issue has been referred to the Parks department for investigation.
