Question/Comment: A resident would like to know why every commuter train that passes between Sycamore & School Streets has to blast the horns all the way, day and night. S/he would like to know if something happening along the tracks to cause this annoyance.  S/he complained in the past and the horns went silent. The resident believes that all those who live along this way would like to get some peace and quiet, along with some quality of life.

  1. The resident is exaggerating. I rarely hear horns, and I'm home much of the day. Horns are sounded when workers are on/near the tracks, which has been more frequent presumably because of Green Line surveying and such.
