Flood Followup: Capuano Ready for School

The Capuano Early Childhood Center will be open for the first day of school on Monday, September 13th. However, all orientation appointments for Thursday, September 9th, and Friday, September 10th, are cancelled.

When families come to school on Monday, September 13th, they are asked to use the Franklin Street entrance because the office area is still under construction.

The Capuano Center sustained water damage from the floods on July 10th. Major repairs are done, however, and the school is ready for students. There are no health or safety risks.

There will be an informational meeting for all parents and guardians on Wednesday, September 8th, at 6 pm in the Winter Hill Community School cafeteria, 115 Sycamore Street.

  1. Hi,

I won't be able to attend the informational meeting. Will meeting minutes be posted online somewhere?

    See you next week! :-)

    Erik van der Neut

  2. Hi Erik,

I don't have the meeting minutes, but we created a FAQ based on the meeting, which can be found here:
