Ward 5 Action Item

New ideas and concerns are consistently raised at ResiStat meetings. These have an affect on public policy -sometimes in ways that go unnoticed, but other times in the form of requests by city officials to take action. Courtney, of Ward 5 online, relates the following:

"An ongoing safety issue regarding crossing from one side of Lowell Street to the other at Princeton Street was, once again, brought up at the recent ResiStat meeting prompting Alderman Sean O'Donovan to submit an order+ through the Board of Alderman which has now made its way into the Committee on Public Health and Public Safety."

  1. I'm very happy to report that a new sign (elderly crossing) has been added to the Lowell Street bridge along with a speed detector just past the VNA.

This item is still in committee, so if you have any concerns, please email your alderman!
