Bike & Pedestrian Counting Project - Spring Call for Volunteers!

It's time again to count the number of bicyclists and pedestrians in Somerville. Please join us in counting at more than 30 locations throughout the city this spring. This will be the third time we've undertaken the count, which provides the City with rich data to help shape policy and infrastructure decisions. The counting dates are April 26, 27, 28 and May 3, 4, 5. Please help spread the word! More information on the project, as well as past data collected and presentations on findings can be found hereTo sign up or learn more, please contact Kathleen Ziegenfuss at kziegenfuss@somervillema.gov or 617-625-6600 ext. 2519. A training session for new volunteers will be held Thursday April 21, 5–5:30 p.m., at City Hall, 93 Highland Ave., 3rd floor conference room. Many thanks for your help in making Somerville a great place to bike and walk!
