Community Meeting on East Somerville Community School Thursday, June 16

The $33 million renovation of the East Somerville Community School, which was damaged by an electrical fire in December 2007, continues to make progress. Please join Mayor Curtatone, Superintendent of Schools Tony Pierantozzi, Alderman Roche and Ward 1 School Committee Representative Maureen for an update to discuss the project. The meeting will be held Thursday, June 16 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Capuano Early Childhood Center, 150 Glen St. Get the scoop on the selective demolition process (much of the structure is being salvaged), the final design, and the project schedule. For more information, please contact Capital Projects Management at 617-625-6600 ext. 5120.
