Which Plan for North Street Park Would You Choose?

Think of it as "Survivor" for park plans--a very tame and constructive version of "Survivor". After two community meetings gathered resident input, the City now has two possilbe plans for renovations for North Street Veterans Playground in West Somerville (between Powderhouse Blvd. and Broadway on North St.). On Tuesday, Sept. 27, residents will be asked to discuss the two plans and select their favorite.

Members of the Parks and Open Space Dept., community leaders including Ward 7 Alderman Bob Trane, and the project team of landscape architects, will all be on hand to present the two different schematic plans for the park and answer questions. Parents and neighborhood residents are encouraged to attend to help the City determine the new layout and features.

North St. Park Playground Community Meeting
Tuesday, Sept. 27, 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
West Somerville Neighborhood School Cafeteria
177 Powderhouse Boulevard
Light refreshments will be provided.
