Q: Will I Ever Get to Do the Thriller Dance in Public with a Mob of Zombies in Somerville?

A: Why yes! If you’ve always longed to do the Thriller dance in public with a mob of Zombies, your day has come. Watch this video, learn the moves, and show up in Union Square, Somerville, at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23rd--and we'll dance.

We'll gather in front of Sally O'Briens, 335 Somerville Ave., where a music stage will be set up for the SomerStreets Monster Mashed Up Festival, a two-mile-long Halloween/Oktoberfest/Fall party with live music, a craft fair, a parade and costume contest, kid's activities and more--plus a cornhole competition. Come for the Thriller practice session at 2 p.m., location to be announced (stop by the How to Flash Mob table to find out where we'll meet). It's true this is a little too public to be a real Flash Mob, but the dancing will be just as glorious.
