DPW is Turning on the Water at Somerville Parks: Use this Interactive Map to find a Water Play Area Near You

View Somerville Parks: Water Play Features, Sprinklers & Pools in a larger map

Good news: The Department of Public Works is out today, Thursday, May, 24, turning on the water features at Somerville Parks. They expect all working water features to be up and running by the weekend--just in time for the good weather. To find a nearby park with a water spray, use the map above. Each pin marks a park with sprinklers or other water play options. Click the pin for info on that park. We made this map last summer. If you notice any information that needs updating, please post a comment and we'll fix the map. Enjoy!

  1. I think there's a water feature at Hodgkins Park? It is not shown on this map.

    1. The water feature at Hodgkins is not a water spray that kids could run around in to cool off, though. (It's for small kids to make sand canals/dump water into little cups/stick hands into a little basin of water, etc.) I believe it is on/off on the same schedule, but you'd be disappointed if you came there wanting to cool off and get wet.
