New Interactive Map of Somerville Parks

View Somerville City Parks Map in a larger map

Check out this great, new interactive map of Somerville parks and community gardens. For better viewing, use the "+" and "-" buttons on the map to zoom in. Then click a tree for more information on and photos of that park. Click a beet for photos of and information on that community garden.

But wait, there's more! Click "Somerville City Parks Map" below the image and it will take you to the map's home on Google Maps. Once there, you can use the map to get directions to a park or garden. Just click the tree or beet, and when the photo pops up, click "directions" under the photo.

Also, please note that this is still a work in progress, so the information for each park and garden is not yet complete. But you can help. If you have a great photo of a City park or garden that you took yourself and would like to add it to the map, please email it to loliveira@somervillema.gov. Enjoy!

  1. Nice! What about the asphalt basketball court at the Powder House Community School property - is that a park?

  2. The map's location for Hoyt-Sullivan Playground (Cross and Brook streets) is quite far from the correct location (Central Street just south of Pembroke)

  3. and here is a google map for services for homeless folks http://data.mapchannels.com/embed/servicesmap.htm

  4. The Playground for the Powderhouse School is not shown. It has been on the most recent park maps for the city.
